Early Stage Dementia Group

A small group of people with early stage dementia, and some of their carers get together regularly for a range of activities. We have a great time and would love to see some more people come and join us. All of the activities are designed to maximize brain function and help maintain independence.
Meetings are held fortnightly at the centre from 10am - 12 noon.  Upcoming dates for 2012 are:

·         26th March
·         ? 9th April - Easter Monday
·         23rd April
·         ? 7th May - Labour Day
·         21st May
·         4th June
·         18th June
·         2nd July
·      16th July
·         30th July

Carer Support Group

We also have a support group just for carers. You are most welcome to come along to share resources and gain help from fellow carers and visiting speakers.
Meetings are held fortnightly at the centre from 10am - 12 noon.  Upcoming dates for 2012 are:

Scrapbook Mornings

Scrapbook mornings are held on the first Friday of each month. You are welcome to come and work on your albums, in the airconditioned comfort of our centre. We have a range of products for you to use, and the cost is $5. If you would like to bring your own supplies, then ust pop a donation in the box. Feel free to come any time between 9.30am - 12 noon, and bring your friends. This is open to all members of the public.
